HADNIM-S is the combination of two drugs- Nimesulide and Serratiopeptidase. It is used to relieve the symptoms of pain and inflammation of joints, muscles and tendons in conditions such as period pain, sprains, sport injuries and osteoarthritis. Nimesulide is a non steroidal anti inflammatory (NSAID) which possesses analgesic and antipyretic properties. Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme (protease) used in the prevention of pain and swelling.

HADNIM-S is a combination of two drugs which acts by blocking the action of cyclo-oxygenase (an enzyme) which is responsible for pain and inflammation in the body, thereby helping in relieving pain and inflammation in conditions like fever, cold, headache, periods pain, joint pain, tooth ache, ear pain, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.
Nimesulide:
Absorption: After oral administration, it is rapidly absorbed.
Distribution: The drug is extensively bound (99%) to plasma proteins and has an estimated apparent volume of distribution of 0.19 to 0.35 L/kg following oral administration.
Metabolism: Nimesulide is extensively metabolised (1 to 3% of a dose is excreted unchanged in the urine) to several metabolites which are excreted mainly in the urine or the faeces.
Elimination: 50% of the drug is eliminated renally.
Serratiopeptidase:
Absorption: It is absorbed in the intestine.
Distribution: It is transported directly from the intestine into the blood stream.
Excreation: It is excreted via urine and bile.

Take this medication with or after meals to avoid stomach upset.
Caution is advised if you have peptic ulcer, heart, kidney or liver failure or bleeding disorders.
Avoid consumption of alcohol and smoking as it may cause increased risk of liver damage.
If you are allergic to any of the ingredients mentioned in the label, do not take this medicine and speak your doctor.
Consult with your doctor before taking this product if severe side effects pertain.
Hypersensitivity to Nimesulide and Serratiopeptidase.
Contraindicated in patients of active peptic ulcer disease, moderate to severe hepatic impairment, severe renal failure and with blood coagulation disorders.
