This product is a combination of two drugs- Nimesulide (NSAID) and Paracetamol (Antipyretic). It is helpful in relieving pain and inflammation in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and primary dysmenorrhoea. It is also used to treat mild to moderate conditions such as fever,common cold, headache, influenza and menstrual cramps. This combination has longer duration of action as compared to monotherapy.

Symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis.
Primary dysmenorrhoea.
It acts by blocking the action of cyclo-oxygenase, an enzyme responsible for pain and inflammation in the body. This medication helps in relieving pain and inflammation in conditions such as fever, cold, headache, menstrual pain, joint pain, tooth ache, ear pain, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.
Nimesulide:
Absorption: After oral administration, it is rapidly absorbed. Pharmacokinetics is unaffected by food, gender and age.
Distribution: The protein binding of Nimesulide is less than 97.5%.
Metabolism: Nimesulide is hepatically metabolized and posses a shorter half life (1.8-4.7).
Elimination: 50% of the drug is eliminated renally.
Paracetamol:
Absorption: Paracetamol is well absorbed in gastro intestinal tract.
Distribution: Oral bioavailability is dose dependant since the half life of Paracetamol is 1-3hrs. Paracetamol is distributed throughout the body fluids in a homogeneous way.
Metabolism: Paracetamol given at therapeutic doses binds to plasma proteins at less than 20%
Excreation: Metabolites are excreted through the kidneys in the urine .

Take this medication with or after meals to avoid stomach upset.
Caution is advised if you have peptic ulcer, heart, kidney or liver failure or blood related problems.
Avoid consumption of alcohol and smoking as it may cause increased risk of liver damage.
Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as it may be fatal to the developing baby.
