It is a combination of three drugs: Folic acid (haematinic), Cholecalciferol (vitamin D metabolite) and Calcium citrate (calcium supplement). It is used in the treatment of low blood calcium levels in people who do not get sufficient calcium from their diet.

Calcium plays a role in the formation and maintenance of healthy bones and joints. Vitamin d3 is essential in the absorption and maintenance of the bones. Vitamin d3 helps in the absorption of calcium. Folic acid helps in the production and maintenance of new cells in the body, and also helps prevent changes to DNA that may lead to cancer. Folic acid is used to treat folic acid deficiency and certain types of anemia caused by folic acid deficiency.

It is advised to consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to vitamin d or if you have any other allergies.
Do not take it if you have high level of calcium or vitamin d in blood, high level of calcium in urine, kidney stones or are bed ridden
Avoid taking if you are suffering from tissue calcification (deposit of calcium in body tissues)
Avoid if you have kidney problems or blood cancer
In case of high level of cholesterol caution is needed
It is not advisable to take thyroid medicine and this product together
