This composition contains cefixime and lactic acid bacillus which are used in combination to treat bacterial infections. cefixime works by killing the bacteria whereas lactic acid bacillus stops the growth of bacteria.

Cefixime binds with the penicillin binding protein present inside the bacteria thus inhibits the cell wall synthesis process and thus the autolytic enzymes such as autolysin mediates cell wall lysis.
Lactic acid bacillus promotes the growth of good bacteria which aids in the digestion. It helps in the treatment of diarrhoea that may occur due to the effect of cefixime.
